March 23, 1967

Thieves, operating with the proficiency of professionals, made a heavy haul Monday night at the Kegel Radio and T-V Store in the Eldersburg Shopping Center.

They entered the building by cutting a hole in the roof, disconnected the burglar alarm and removed the loot via a rear door.

The robbery was discovered when employees reported for work Tuesday morning.

Missing were 23 television sets, mostly color and some portables, as well as two radios.

It was the second time the store has been robbed since last summer.

State Police are conduction an investigation.
