Colored Youth Dies of Burns

January 10, 1935

Leroy Randall, a 19-year-old colored youth, died in the Provident Hospital, Baltimore, on Monday from burns received on Saturday, December 29th, when a container of gasoline caught fire in his automobile. In attempting to extinguish the flames, young Randall was frightfully burned about the head, hands and body. The body was prepared for burial by Weer & Son, Inc., and taken to the home of his father, William H. Randall, at Cooksville, from where funeral services were held this, Thursday morning.
