The following bills have been introduced by our County representatives Senate—by Senator Warfield. Sanctioning the bequest of Wm. H. Hand and of Eliza J., wife of George La Stockadele; to direct the state roads Comnission to construct an improved concrete road from Union Bridge to Frizellburg; to authorize the trustees of Manchester Academy to transfer the land and property to the Board, of Education of the county, for the purpose of enlarging and maintaining a high school in said academy and renovating thc building; a bill that no person shall shoot, trap, catch or kill, or gun or hunt for, any Quail, Partridge or Bob-white within the limits of Carroll county, Md., at any time between the first day of June, 1918, and tho ‘tenth day of November, 1921; a bill requiring all persons to obtain a license before auctioneering sales, at a cost of $25 for the whole or part of a year; a bill to amend the charter of the Birnie Trust Company of Taneytown; a bill to amend the charter of Western Md. College, of Westminster.

The Senate passed the house bill requiring lights on all vehicles traveling the roads at night.
