Draft Registration Feb. 14, 15, 16

For Men 20 to 44 — Schools and Draft Board Offices To Be Used

All men between the ages of 20 and 44 inclusive, who have not previously registered or are not at present in the military system, must register next weekend, February 14, 15 and 16, for possible selective military service.

The registration will be conducted on Saturday and Monday by the public schools in Carroll County and on Sunday by the two draft boards in Westminster.

The Schedule Follows:

AT PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Saturday, Feb. 14 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Monday, Feb 16 – 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

(Because of the registration there will be no school on Monday.)

AT DRAFT BOARD OFFICES

Sunday, Feb. 15- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Principals and teachers in the several schools will handle the draft registration, with Samuel M. Jenness and Miss M. E. Grimes, of the office of the Board of Education, servings as registrars.

At the Sykesville school, Principal John F. Wooden said, registration will take place in the auditorium. He asks registrants to use the north entrance to the building.
