Edw. H. Dausinger Gaither Road, Dies

Edward H. Dausinger, 75, retired railroad and hospital employee, died Sunday, Nov. 3, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Vernon Hill, Gaither Road, Sykesville.

For some 25 years, Mr. Dausinger worked as a trackman for the B.&O. Railroad. Later he was employed for 17 years as an attendant at Springfield State Hospital. He retired 12 years ago.

Son of the late John and Caroline Dausinger of Baltimore, he is survived by a daughter, Katherine (Mrs. Hill); a step-daughter, Mrs. Gladys Fletcher, the latter two of Woodbine.

Services were held at the Haight Funeral Home, Sykesville, on Wednesday at 2 P.M. The Rev. Thomas Stewart, pastor of St. Paul’s Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Mt. View Cemetery, Howard County. Pallbearers were George Leakins, Sr., Harry Dwyer, Louis Sandosky, Sr., Robert Evans, Clarence Rosier, Sr., and Roby Barens, Jr.
