Major Davidson To Speak Before Freedom PTA April 11

Major George E. Davidson, field force commander of the Maryland State Police will give an informal talk on Juvenile Delinquency at the Freedom Elementary School Parent-Teachers Association on Monday, APril 11, at 8 P.M.

Major Davidson attended Harvard University, majoring in Police Science. He graduated from the FBI academy and the Jacobs School of Public Speaking and has done post graduate work in organization and business administration.

Immediately following his formal education, he taught school, commercial and academic subjects, and for the past thirty years has been with the Department of Maryland State Police. He entered the service in the lowest rank and was promoted through the several grades to his present rank of Major. He is now in charge of all uniformed men of the State Police in the 23 counties of Maryland.

He is a devoted and sincere church member and is held in high esteem by his associates and friends. He has proven his capabilities as an administrator with highly developed executive ability, and is recognized as an outstanding public speaker.

The charter of Cub Scout Pack 389 will be presented to the sponsor at this meeting also. All committeemen and Den Mothers are urged to attend. The public is invited.
