Baritone Captivates Home-Town Crowd In Springfield Auditorium

Last Friday night was “Jimmy Richards’ Night” for several hundred admirers and well-wishers who turned out to enjoy the voice and personality of the former Strawbridge boy in a recital in the Springfield auditorium.

It was the always happy and heart warming spectacle of a “hometown boy who made good” returning in time to the scene of earlier days and labors. In this case it was that of a local son who had “made good” on not one count but two- the ministry and the concert stage0 returning to those he knew and loved.
