St. Paul’s Anniversary – Homecoming

November 20, 1969

St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Sykesville will celebrate it’s 90th year of serving God and this community on Sunday, Nov. 23, with a homecoming-anniversary service beginning at 11 a.m.

Dr. Clifford Homer Richmond, a former pastor, will deliver the anniversary sermon, Lord “A Church To Match This Hour.”

The service will be conducted by the Rev. William D. Sampselle, pastor of the local church since 1965.

All four choirs are scheduled to sing. Selections include:

“Praise Ye The Name Of The Lord.” G. Young, by the senior choir.

“Thanks Be To Thee,” by the chancel choir.

“Song Of Praise,” Ridenour, by the junior choir.

“Thank You, Our Father,”, by the cherub choir.

Members and friends will enjoy a covered dish luncheon immediately following the service in the church hall.
