Milliard H. Weer, retired postmaster and insurance man, is at Bon Secours Hospital, Baltimore, for observation. He entered the hospital on Tuesday.

Mrs. Guy (Jo) Haynie is still recuperating at her home from spinal surgery performed October 19, 1966. Mrs. Haynie expects to remain in a torso cast for approximately 2 1/2 more months. Visitors are welcome.

Howard A. Hobbs entered University Hospital on Saturday, Jan. 28, for observation and treatment. He is in room 307, 12th floor.

P. F. C. Thomas C. Duerr, of Gaither Heights, is now stationed in Pleiker, S. Vietnam and would enjoy hearing from his friends. His address is P.F.C. Thomas C. Duerr, RA 51663128 Co. C, 1st BN, 69th Armor APO, San Francisco, Calif., 96262.

W. Richard Alexander, formerly a member of the Sykesville, Jr. High faculty and now a visiting teacher of the Carroll County public school system, was the guest speaker Tuesday evening at the weekly dinner meeting of the Sykesville Rotary Club.

William Day of Morgan Road, Howard County, entered St. Agnes Hospital on Tuesday, Jan. 24, and underwent major surgery on the following Monday. His weekend visitors were Mrs. William Day, Mr. and Mrs. Echol Lawson, Mr. Dallas Kertsville, Glenda and Joe; Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Evans, Rev. Maurice E. Vineyard Mr. Dave Smelser, Ronda and Keith Evans and Mrs. Ann Hollenbaugh.

Mrs. Mary Beam entered the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, North Charles Street, Baltimore, on Sunday and underwent surgery on Monday. She is in room 2644 A.
