Two Boys Hurt In Coasting Accident

Two Sykesville boys, each about 10 years of age, were injured in a coasting accident early Wednesday evening.

The injured were: Horace Burns, broken right leg, broken left arm and lacerations of scalp. Stanley Welch, injured pelvis and lacerations of scalp.

The accident happened around 6 p.m., when a sled carrying the two boys met an automobile driven by Clarence S. Young in a head0on collision on a curve in a driveway near the home of A. C. Brown.

Dr. H. A. Barneds attended the boys and sent them to University Hospital in the Westminster ambulance. Young Welch was returned to his home today (Thursday).
